2017 New Year Message

“In the New Year, never forget to thank to your past years because they enabled you to reach today! Without the stairs of the past, you cannot arrive at the future!” Mehmet Murat ildan

Most of us have incredible family members, friends, and other loved ones who love us back.

Most of us have eyes, with which to enjoy the amazing miracles of sunsets , nature and beauty all around us.

Sometimes we get so caught up pursuing the next big thing, that we forget to pause and appreciate the things we have, the things we’ve experienced, learned and the things we have achieved along the way.

In other words, we forget to give thanks continuously, for all things.

Since every step we have taken has led us right to where we are, and all things have contributed to our development, when we finally do pause to give thanks, we should try to include all things in our gratitude.

We don’t learn how to be grateful for what doesn’t work out, or to see everything for what it can teach us, how it can bring us closer to the people we hope to be.

We have a hard time accepting that the things that end weren’t necessarily wrong, they were just designed for that time, or for a purpose that was already served and if it were to happen today we would react differently.

Everything is a lesson , every person, every experience and every hardship is your teacher.

The learning never ends and I don’t care what your age or stage in life is, If you’re not learning, you’re dying, literally.

You may think it’s impossible to be happy being yourself.

Not having had the best parents, the ideal childhood or the most prestigious academic education is not a reason to feel embarrassed about your life.

You are at a better place now than you were yesterday, this is what counts.

Every day, it’s easy to wish you looked like or acted like someone else, or had the cushy job or great partner that someone else has.

Do not let other people or situations you may have been in define who you are because of where you have came from.

No one has had a perfect family nor has had the perfect cultural and educational experiences.

The world we live in today is so diverse and no one person is better than another.

You can no longer live in the past, the what could have been.

You are missing out on the present because you are crying over a past that can never be your future.

Until you learn to accept who you are and work to address your flaws, you’ll never grow or learn as a person.

When people go through hardships in life, they often become resentful and frustrated for having struggled more than others.

Never forgetting where you came from will keep you grounded and in touch with reality.

The way you treat yourself dictates how you’ll treat the world around you.

So, forgive yourself, and forget the hate you feel towards yourself for the mistakes you have made.

Mistakes are just life experiments, methods of learning and evolving from what you have learned.

Move on by showing yourself love, respect, compassion and patience.

Be gentle with yourself, give to yourself all those things which you so freely give to others who do not appreciate it, is not grateful for it or deserving of it.

Embrace your life and of those who have helped you be where you are now.

I’m not talking about appreciating the miracle of life, although it’s obviously an awesome thing.

I’m talking about actually appreciating all the good things you’ve done for you and the world.

There’s no need to try and look or behave like someone else, so just accept yourself fully and completely and start loving yourself for who you really are.

Always be gentle and kind with yourself , you deserve it , you are a wonderful, amazing, loving person.

You are unique, one of a kind, a work of art made by nature.

You are the only one, with your unique traits, qualities and potentialities.

You are the only one responsible for your life, choices and deeds so you have no right to be neglectful of yourself.

Give yourself a gift which will be of lasting value in 2017

Love yourself
